We use the information we collect to quote and carry out the work, take payment and send receipts, respond to your enquiries, send appointment reminders and job updates, and improve the service based on what customers ask us for.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We never have, and we never will.
Details you give us about the job
Photos, measurements and access notes you send us stay yours. We use them only to quote and complete the work. We do not use them for anything other than the job you booked.
Your details are encrypted in transit and at rest. We keep internal access tight, so only the office team and the tradesperson on your job can see them.
Third-party services
We use a limited number of third-party services to run the business, including cloud hosting, card payments, and email delivery. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and may only use it to perform services on our behalf.
Cookies and tracking
We use essential cookies to remember your preferences. We also use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. You can disable non-essential cookies at any time through your browser settings.
Data retention
We keep job records for six years, because that is what our insurer and HMRC require. Photos and access notes are deleted within 30 days of the work being signed off. Quotes you never went ahead with are deleted after 90 days.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your information, export your data in a portable format, and opt out of non-essential communications.

Security
We take the security of your data seriously. Our systems are hosted with established UK cloud providers. We review our security regularly and keep software patched. Everyone on the team is trained on handling customer details.
If we become aware of a security breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you within 72 hours in accordance with applicable regulations.
Children’s privacy
Our booking process is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on this site at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
